About this sanctuary

Verified profile information attributed to the linked sources.

Donkey Dreams Sanctuary provides wild burros and rescue donkeys a forever home in a donkey family where they can heal and find happiness, peace, and joy for the rest of their lives. Donkey Dreams Sanctuary is powered by volunteers with little to no administrative overhead. We rescue donkeys at risk of slaughter and wild donkeys displaced from their homes and families during roundups facilitated by the BLM, National Parks, Military Bases, and the US Fish and Wildlife Department. We specialize in keeping bonded donkeys and donkey families together in an environment that preserves their wild burro spirit.
