Unbridled Thoroughbred Foundation & Unbridled Sanctuary is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit public charity devoted to protecting and saving at-risk Thoroughbred Horses from the modern slaughter pipeline. Since 2004, through advocacy, direct rescue, education, and legislation Unbridled has been a leading voice for the welfare of Thoroughbreds on the racetrack, and throughout the whole of their natural 30-year+ lifespan. Each horse at Unbridled is respected as an individual with their own social and emotional needs, and unique mental and physical proclivities. We allow their personality, history, and natural preferences to dictate how we can aid in facilitating their best and most enjoyable life. Our unique philosophy of equine care and recognition of the moral status of equine is our true passion and the ethos that guides all of our work.
